Seeking The Light & Truth Within: Sacred Sister Gathering
Rev Helen James attends the Sacred Sister Gathering in Somerset, UK and interviews fellow One Spirit Interfaith Minister, Rev Laura Ireland about this special gathering of women and her Shine programme, empowering women. As teenagers and women - one who's nearly 80 - gather on the land, away from the male gaze, they all co-create the event offering gifts to each other as workshops. Defences are dropped, heart-felt sisterhood emerges, and through healing circles, song and dance, the women learn to let go and be their authentic selves. It is joyous and humbling. Rev Helen James would like to thank every sister who contributed to this film, especially those who allowed their songs and voices to be heard.
