Seeking the Light & Truth Within: Intuitive Art
Frances Whitman is a Wildlife artist, Spiritual Medium & Intuitive Artist. Following a car accident in her 20s, Frances gave up her retail job to pursue a career as an artist. She started drawing wild animals, especially their eyes which she says are “windows to the soul”. Her intricately detailed animal portraits in pastel, pencil and paint are superb – tigers, leopards, elephants, otters. It was whilst she was painting, sitting still, and absorbed in a meditative state, that she started to receive messages from Spirit. Firstly, the husband of a friend came through who had just died, and Frances channelled very personal messages verifying the validity of this experience. Frances then trained to be a Spiritual Medium and safe container, gently holding and counselling people when delivering information from the unseen realm.
Frances then felt drawn to paint more freely and create intuitive art. She often creates art at sacred sites (Avebury, Rollright stones & Stonehenge). People are often very drawn to her pictures and moved by the colours and shapes which may help gain an awareness and heal. Frances is encouraging others to follow their intuition and create free flowing art to boost their mental well-being and unlock their inner child. She runs Intuitive Art Workshops in Cheltenham in Gloucestershire. These workshops provide a nurturing, fun and relaxing space in which participants can enjoy exploring and experimenting with different art mediums and creating mixed media artworks, with guidance from Frances.
